Today, for some reason-my attitude went from rediculously happy/optimistic to total shit. I was on facebook [get off my back] and I've come to the conclusion that once you go away- you’re gone. I have texted, facebook messaged, called and done some other things to keep in touch with friends I had, and I have only gotten a response from the few who had “time” or wanted to. Some of the people I had once held so dear to me, since I moved two states away, haven’t talked to me at all, or have very infrequently. I feel out of the loop and… awkward. Before I left, they told me to not forget them- I never will, but have they forgotten me?
Growing up is hard. Getting older is worse.
